Nene Raju Nene Mantri is an political thriller film, the life of Jogendra (rana daggubati), his rise and fall as a politician. Jogendra is a financier lends money to the people around him. One day, his wife radha(kajal) insulted by a Sarpanch’s wife and then he want to become surpanch for his wife wish. He then becomes Sarpanch, then slowly grow his power to become MLA and Minister. But the wrong steps took to become minister. Radha is the main role of the film. Jogendra does everything for her. Jogendra has this entire journey of evolution from a common man to minster. Radha is kind of his moral balance. Everything in this film is for the love Jogendra has for her. A simple man from a simple world turns into the dark side of life. Devika Rani (Catherine) loves jogendra and wants him.but he used devika and rejects her.
The movie is political thriller and some powerful dialogues. The performance of Rana is outstanding in the role of jogendra. Catherine play as a TV reporter. Kajal Agarwal is the main character for Jogendra becomes a political leader. The direction taken the film to another level. The second half is lagging. little boring at the beginning of second half. Totally loved the scene where Radha played by Kajal. They look so tredition. Catherine is also a part of the film. Rana Daggubati’s physique if fantastic in this film.
Rana Daggubati: Done a great job as Jogendra and his performance is the highlight of Nene Raju Nene Mantri.
Kajal Aggarwal: She has played well. her chemistry with Rana is good.
